It's hard finding experience in the arts; we know, that's why we started ArtJamz! Luckily, it's working and ArtJamz is growing. We're on the hunt to fill our 2014 DC Art Internships Class with smart, creative, and entrepreneurial people like you.

Marketing and Communications

Do you find yourself at the intersection between art and social media? Are you interested in maintaining a marketing campaign? Apply to be our Marketing and Communications Intern.

Responsibilities: -- Produce content across digital and social media channels -- Support marketing campaigns -- Analyze demographics and analytics to create new marketing initiatives that help to drive customer growth -- Create E-blasts and PR material -- Support strategies for postcard and printed marketing material distribution -- Maintain and keep up in-studio and Point of Sale marketing campaigns and signage

Degree: Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Art History Skills: Familiar with SEO, wordpress, hootsuite, mail chimp or constant contact, Facebook, Twitter, instagram, basic HTML. Must be a good writer and able to produce original copy for blogs, social media and PR and understand the difference between the three. Google Analytics, Google Ad Sense, Google Calendar, GDRIVE Pay: $150 per month, 15 hours per week

Event Planning

Are you a social butterfly? Do you have an interest in communications, business, or art history? Put your interpersonal and academic skills to work at ArtJamz. We’re seeking an Events Intern to help plan and execute special events, which include private parties, public events, in-house promotions, and corporate partnerships.

Responsibilities: -- Support Event Coordinator with private events and special events -- Daily event planning and interfacing with ArtJamz private event customers -- Attending events to ensure proper event execution -- Creation of online event pages and monthly schedule

Degree: Communications, Business, Art History Skills: Stellar people person. Social. Must love coordinating events and be detail oriented. Familiar with online tools, blogging and able to create online event pages. Eventbrite, Google Calendar, GDRIVE Pay: $150 month, 15 hours per week

ArtJamz Academy

Who says you have to stop taking art classes after high school? If you're passionate about art education, or want to help develop a fledgling business venture, apply to be our ArtJamz Academy Intern. Help us develop our newest program and offer the best and widest variety of art classes to the DC community.

Responsibilities: -- Assist in the daily operations of ArtJamz art classes -- Create class pages and event calendars and promote classes via company website and digital properties as well as external third-party calendars -- Correspond with Art Instructors on class status -- Correspond with Customers on class status -- Work with ArtJamz Academy Director and teachers to activate new classes

Degree: Education, Art History Skills: Able to handle a variety of tasks at once. Stellar organizational and communication skills. Ability to speak directly to customers and teachers. Familiarity with online scheduling tools, Google calendar, spreadsheets, GDRIVE and numbers in addition to social media. Pay: $150 per month, 15 hours per week

Assistant to the Chief Creative Enabler

Looking for an opportunity to help run a business? Apply to be the Assistant to the Chief Creative Enabler at ArtJamz. Work in a fun, creative environment while gaining valuable experience in administrative tasks and business processes.

Responsibilities: -- Support ArtJamz CEO in daily administrative tasks -- Support scheduling -- Support back end business processes, payroll, accounting, strategic planning, contract preparation -- Support gathering and analyzing customer analytic and sales data -- Support in strategic business planning, budgeting and opportunity analysis

Degree: Business, Accounting, Finance Skills: Business / MBA degree. Spreadsheets. General accounting principles. Quickbooks. Google Analytics, Google Calendar, GDRIVE. Pay: $150 per month, 15 hours per week
