ArtJamz private painting events are perfect for team-building activities, corporate group outings, birthdays, and special occasions for adults and kids. 

Painting is a fantastic activity for private parties because anyone in your group can do it. We provide everything everyone in your group needs to create an original work of art, plus our team of art-trained "Creative Enablers" are always on hand to provide tips and guidance.

We have three great locations to choose from, plus we can come to you – ArtJamz is mobile too!  

The ArtJamz Dupont Studio (1,800 sq ft) can accommodate groups from 8 to 50 people. Conveniently located in the vibrant Dupont Circle neighborhood, our studio provides everything you need to get creative in a relaxed and creative atmosphere. We host private parties for adults and kids alike.  

The ArtJamz Brookland Studio (800 sq ft) can accommodate groups from 12 to 20 people. Conveniently located right on the Red Brookland CUA Line Metro in the heart of the up and coming Arts Walk at Monroe Street Market in Brookland NE.  

The ArtJamz Art Underground Studio (1000 sq ft) can accommodate groups from 12 to 30 people. Conveniently located right on Crystal City Yellow Line Metro  in the heart of the Art Underground area in Crystal City Shops.

PRICING

Private events can range anywhere from $25 to $50+ per person depending on:

  • How long you paint, a.k.a, your "Studio Pass."
  • Which size canvas you choose -- we have multiple options plus you can bring your own if you'd like.
  • How much you drink and/or eat -- we offer catering and serve both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks at our studios.

HOW LONG ARE PRIVATE EVENTS AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

Private events for adults must be a minimum of 1.5HRs and 1HR for kids. Most events last 1.5 to 3 hours. You can select three things to complete your event

  • Studio Pass
  • Canvas
  • Drinks, Catering and Arty Add-ons

 

Studio Pass includes easel and smock rental, guidance from our art-trained creative enablers and access to non-toxic water-based acrylic paints, paint brushes, palettes, sponges, markers, pens, pencils, pastels and other cool "weapons of mass creativity."

Canvas cost extra and range in price and size from MINI (8 x 10), SMALL (12 x 16), MEDIUM (16 x 20), LARGE (20 x 24) to XL (24 x 30). You can bring your own canvas for a fee depending on size. We also have KidRobot Vinyl Street Art Dolls.

WHAT ABOUT DRINKS?

Wine, beer, champagne, creative cocktails and non-alcoholic "liquid inspiration" options available depending on the location.  Open bar options are available as well. View our menu for pricing. 

GROUP SIZE OPTIONS

6-15 people Non-Private Group Reservation Don't get split up across a crowded studio. A block of easels can be reserved during one of our public sessions to guarantee everyone in your group gets an easel together. Catering and/or open bar add-ons not available.

15-50 people Full Venue Private Event Buy-Outs Book a full floor or studio. No public ArtJamz sessions will occur during your event. All add ons available, including catering and open bar. *18% auto-gratuity added for groups this size.

GROUP PARTY ADD-ONS

Plan on having a group of 15 or more? Make your event extra arty and fun with these party package upgrades.

Open Catering The whole starving artist thing? Way overrated! Feed your creative side with delicious hors d’oeuvres. Place your order through us and we take care of the rest.

Additional Studio Time Want the party to go longer? Add additional 30 minutes of studio time after 1.5HR.

Wet Canvas Bags Be prepared to take your canvas with you. Include our Wet Canvas Carrying Bags in your party package.

Photography Document your creative genius with professional photographer.

Make it Mobile Bring the paint party to your office or backyard.

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS

All reservations for 6 or more require a $150 deposit which will be refunded in full or deducted from the final bill on the day of the event as long as the event isn't cancelled with less than 72 hours notice and you have met your minimum number of attendees. In the event you do not meet your minimum number of attendees, you will be charged studio time for each ticket under your minimum.
